- Genecon V3 manual generator — 3 V DC
Genecon V3 manual generator — 3 V DC
Genecon V3 manual generator — 3 V DC
Short Description
The Genecon V3 is a transparent hand-crank generator that produces up to 3 V DC. It allows students to explore electricity generation, energy conversion, electric circuits, motors and electromagnetism through hands-on experimentation.
Product Description
The Genecon V3 Hand-Crank Generator converts mechanical energy from the rotating handle into electrical energy.
Its output voltage is intentionally limited to a maximum of 3 V DC, helping reduce the risk of damaging low-voltage classroom accessories such as miniature light bulbs, LEDs and small motors.
The transparent polycarbonate housing allows students to observe the internal motor, gears and mechanical components while the generator is operating. This visible design makes it easier to understand how mechanical motion is converted into electrical energy.
The amount of electrical energy generated changes according to the speed at which the handle is turned. Students can also feel changes in mechanical resistance depending on the electrical load connected to the generator.
Multiple Genecon V3 units may be connected in series or parallel to compare circuit configurations and power compatible low-voltage equipment.
