This digital hot plate with magnetic stirrer has a temperature probe that is located directly in the bottle or beaker, allowing for more precise heating of solutions. In addition to dual PT sensors, the unit is designed with a one-button digital controller for temperature, speed, and time, each with an independent LED display. For increased safety and unsupervised ease of use, an integrated alarm audibly signals the completion of the user-allocated time cycle. In the event of a malfunction, the display will show an error code for quick diagnosis and resolution.

The unit's hotplate is 6 inches in diameter to accommodate beakers and flasks up to 2000 ml in capacity, and is made of scratch- and chemical-resistant stainless steel with a ceramic coating. Its durable aluminum housing is thermally insulated, keeping the device relatively cool to the touch during operation. Approved by the CSA.
