BeeSpi V Speed and Lap-Time Measuring Device

SKU: S77-1321
Model: BeeSpi V
Category: Physics / Motion and Measurement
Packaging: 1 unit

Short Description

The BeeSpi V is a compact digital speed and lap-time measuring device designed for classroom physics experiments. It measures speed and cumulative lap time using two built-in infrared sensors and displays the results directly on its digital screen.

It is ideal for experiments involving motion, velocity and acceleration.

Product Description

The BeeSpi V measures the time taken for an object to pass between two infrared sensor units built into the device. Based on this time difference, it automatically calculates and displays the object’s speed.

The unit can display measurements in:

  • centimetres per second;
  • metres per second;
  • kilometres per hour;
  • cumulative lap time in seconds.

When two BeeSpi V units are used together, students can also calculate acceleration by comparing speed measurements at different points along a track.

A built-in memory function stores the five most recent measurements, making repeated experiments easier to compare and analyse.

The user can switch between speed measurement mode and cumulative lap-time mode, depending on the activity.

Key Features
